    I see there is no mention of Public Transportation and when it will be implemented within your 2013 Platform, Tara.
    This is a very important issue upon which I will base my decision on who to vote for in the upcoming Municipal Election.
    I would like to see you take a positive stand on being for Public Transit, both within Cochrane and linking to the Calgary Transit system.

    Hi Maihaa -

    Great to hear from you. Transit is under our 10 Year Financial Plan which I support. 2016 if we can get the Provincial Green Trip and Fed. Gov't funding. I support the most recent options of an introductory transit service for in Cochrane (the call option). For Cochrane, transit is a matter of if, not when. Once we get confirmation from the provincial gov't on wether the funding can be used for those models, we can move to the next step. In the words of my 7 year old daughter when I asked her what she thought of transit to help folks gets around, like seniors and kids, she said, "why wouldn't you want that?"
    Count on my support for transit in a staged and affordable manner. Which I believe the latest options are.
